Tara's Baby Quilt

This is the first quilt I have made since I started blogging. I made it for a co-worker for her surprise work baby shower on Friday. I was really starting to stress it last week that I would not have time to get it done. But thankfully, my hubby went to Vermont yesterday snowmobiling, so it is done!

Several of you have requested to see pictures of my work. Here it is!

Here is a close up of the two blocks. I love the 1930's prints in a baby quilt!

Now that this is done, I can now go do the Hanna Stamps and Corrosive Blog Challenges for this week!

It is hard to tell from the picture, but her dress is paper pieced from shimmery purple card stock.

Update on Jenna's Diary

My co-worker emailed me these pictures of her daughter, Jenna, with her new diary. She needed to take a picture of her using it to show me how much she liked it. She has been taking it everywhere with her; to Grandma's house and to day care. Do you think she loves it?

These pictures made my day so I thought everyone else might enjoy them too! Thanks for sharing the pictures Karah!

Kyla's Diary

Well, I attempted another altered composition notebook. This time I put the Scor-Tape on the notebook's front and back covers and I lined the patterned paper to the edge of the black strip. I also left about 1 inch on each of the remaining sides so I could fold it over and then cover the inside page with matching card stock. I think I like this one better. You just live and learn!
