Happy Birthday Mary!

I want to wish my friend Mary, aka #1volunteer on SCS, a very happy birthday today!

Her birthday card was made using my Cricut Expression and the Paper Pups cartridge. I am loving my new Christmas present! I needed to show it off to her because I know that once she starts playing with her mom's Cricut, she will be wanting one. She has enabled me to buy so many things that I can finally get her back!

Enjoy your day my dear!!!

Meet Hank

This is Huggable Hank. He is another great dragon image from High Hopes Stamps. I made him as a sample to be displayed at my local scrapbook store, Life's Memories & More in Palmer, MA, where I will be teaching a class on how to color using Prismacolor pencils on February 28, 2009. I kept the card simple since I will be focusing on coloring the image during this class.

Stamps: High Hopes - Huggable Hank, C.C. Designs - Penguins (sentiment)
Paper: PTI White, GP White, Gable Green and Only Orange
Ink: Archival Jet Black
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Blending Stumps, Baby Oil, Cuttlebug, Tiny Bubbles Embossing Folder, SU Small and Large Oval Punches and Corner Punch.

February Swap Card

Okay, I know that I am really early on finishing these but I had the time this weekend. This is my card for my monthly swap for February. I used Lenny's Love Knots from High Hopes Stamps. I colored him using my Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and blending stumps. I love coloring this way! I hope my swap group likes it! Unfortunately, they are going to have to wait a month to get it.

Stamps: High Hopes - Lenny's Love Knots
Paper: PTI White, GP White, SU Basic Black, Creative Memories DP - Monochromatic Gazebo
Ink: Archival Jet Black

I'm blogging!

Well I finally did it, I started blogging!
