Quick Card Fronts #4

Here is my final card sample using these Quick Card Fronts.  This one was made to be used for a boy's birthday.  These are so easy to cut and clean up that I just may cut some more to have ready for any occassion that arises!

Mother's Day Card

Here is the card that I made my mother and mother-in-law for Mother's Day!

I used a cutting file from Mamaw's Legacy called Flower 42010 to cut this card out.  It is a tri-fold card.  I added the ribbon down the front to decorate it.  I stamped the sentiment on the inside so it would not take away from the decorative front.

I just love these card fronts!  This time I matted my sentiment on the flower card!  I kept it simple just like the cutting stated!

Here's another card front from the same cutting file as the card from Tuesday's posting.  This one took a little more time to clean up but it was so worth it!

I decided to stamp the sentiment directly on the open area and I added a flower for some accents!

Quick Card Fronts #1

I just love these quick card fronts!  I was finally able to get some cutting time of Wednesday evening so I could play with these.  This one cut quick and was easy to clean up!

I like the way the sentiment looks on the white card stock.  It really makes it stand out!

With Heartfelt Sympathy

A very close friend at work lost her mother yesterday.  She was diagnosed a brain tumor that had taken over her left side of her brain and recently moved to the frontal lobes.  She found out that she had it in December 2009.  She was a wonderful person and will be missed!  Hugs to you Amy!

Hump Day Inspiration #5

Happy Hump Day everyone!  It's time for another sketch, so here it is:

I was having a crafty evening with my friend, Heather, on Friday night.  She was cutting some mats for me using her Silhouette and some free digital cutting files.  I thought it was amazing!  So after doing some homework, I ordered Make the Cut software from Designing with Die Cuts so I can use digital files with my Cricut.  They are having a great sale on the Make the Cut (MTC) and Sure Cuts A Lot (SCAL) which includes a free shopping spree for some of their digital files.

Here is a website called Mamaw's Legacy that Heather gave me that has TONS of free files (in SVG format for the Cricut).  The owner has made several files that are mats for the label series of Nestabilities die cuts.  I love using them but I never mat them because the difference between the sizes is too large for my liking.  These are perfect!  She also has a store, HERE, where she has 40% off her files until April 3rd.  If you have a digital cutter, I would highly recommend checking her out!
