JustRite Challenge #12

I originally made this card for JustRite Stampers Challenge #12 - Anything Goes.  I was not able to post it in time to be entered into the challenge but I'd like to share it with you anyways.

The medallion was created using a SVG file for my Cricut from Mamaw's Legacy called Circle 22110.  It fits a 2" circle but since I used the 2" stamper and a mat, it is covered up more than it should be.

Supplies:
Stamps: JustRite Stampers - 2" Circle Stamper and Bonus 15 Pt Font, JustRite Stampers - Celebrations Demi Phrases 2"
Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, GP White, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel. CM Cherish DP
Ink: Archival Jet Black, PTI Tea Dye Duo, SU Markers
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Circle Nestabilities (Classic), Cricut, SU 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon - Chocolate Chip

Warm Winter Wishes

Okay, don't hate me because I did this, but I started my Christmas cards last weekend! I personalized the snowflake from Merry Little Christmas from JustRite Stampers. I had to use the snowflake on this year's cards because we are both snowmobiling now. Since I had all the letters in place on the 2" wooden stamper, I stamped out enough for this year's cards.

I cut out the 2" circle with the circle nestabilities, added a layer slightly bigger and mounted both onto a scalloped circle. Then I used the Impressabilities Snowflake to make the embossed background onto Soft Sky cardstock. I sponged it using Blue Bayou ink. Then I felt that it needed something else but I wanted to be sure that I would have enough supplies to replicate this on the rest of the cards. So I dug through my supplies and I found these SU Snowflake die cuts that my stamping friend Mary sent to me a while ago. Perfect! Then I added a small pearl to the center of the snowflake and viola, it's done!

Supplies:
Paper: PTI White, GP White, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Ink: Blue Bayou
Accessories: Sponge, Cuttlebug, Impressabilities - Snowflake, Circle Nestabilities (Classic & Scallop), Adhesive Pearl

Secret Santa

I am having so much fun making these samples for JustRite Stampers!!

For this card, I used this sketch from Mojo Monday from back in 2007. I have all of their sketches printed out in case I need some creative assistance! I thought this sketch helped to accent the medallion that I made in the middle. I really miss the Dashing designer paper from SU, good thing I still have a few sheets left!

Supplies:
Paper: PTI White, GP White. Always Artichoke, Real Red, Dashing DP
Ink: Archival Jet Black, Always Artichoke, SU Markers
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Circle Nestabilities (Classic & Scallop), SU 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Crop-A-Dile, Eyelet

Holiday Hugs

Isn't this little card so cute! I cut it using the Nestabilites Label Two large die and it actually cut through both layers of Papertrey Ink white cardstock. I thought the white was too bright so I chalked it to match the bow on the mistletoe. I think the brads in the corners add some dimension to the card too!

Supplies:
Stamps: JustRite Stampers - Merry Little Christmas
Paper: PTI White, GP White, Always Artichoke, Ruby Red
Ink: Archival Jet Black, SU Markers, Cat's Eye Chalk - Yellow Citrus
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Label Two Nestabilities, Brads

Gift Tags That Are JustRite!

I received the new Merry Little Christmas stamp set from JustRite Stampers last month to create some holiday samples for them. I just saw SCS's Weekly Newsletter that featured the Tent Topper Card. I decided to make them using a 2-1/4" by 4-1/4" piece of card stock scored in half. I think these gift tags came out so cute!

Supplies:
Paper: Ruby Red, Always Artichoke DP
Ink: Archival Jet Black, SU Markers
Accessories: JustRite Stampers - Horizontal Wood Stamper, Cuttlebug, Circle Nestabilities, SU 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Ribbon

Hip Hop Hangover - August 28, 2009

It's Friday and time for another Hip Hop Hangover!

I did not have enough time to make something using a tree from Unity so instead I have my last scrapbook page from my trip to Maine last year.

We make it a point to walk the Marginal Way that goes along the coast from Ogunquit to Perkins Cove. It's a beautiful and peaceful walk with several picture opportunities. When we get to Perkins Cove, we always stop at the candy store for a special little treat, they have great coconut macaroons! I guess that defeats the purpose of taking a walk but oh well! LOL!

Stamps: Unity - Growing in Unity, JustRite Stampers - Times Roman Font
