My Herb Garden

I had to share this with all my blog followers.  I thought this was so cool!

While I was on vacation in Lancaster, PA we went over to Intercourse, PA (love the name!).  There was a store called Tin N' Treasures in Kitchen Kettle Village.  My hubby bought this for me!  It is called a Tipsy Pot and it was only $7.  Here is the website if you are interested in buying one too.

Then while we were heading home from the Philadelphia Zoo, we stopped at an Amish woman's house who was selling flowers and plants outside.  I bought the herbs I wanted for my herb garden.  I got peppermint, spearamint, chives, basil, lemon thyme and oregano all for $22.

When we got home, I went out and bought one 14" clay pot and four 6" clay pots along with some potting soil to assemble it.

Here is my finished tipsy pot herb garden!

I am very excited since this is my first design team for a digital cutting company!  Maybe now I can scrap a little more so my hubby will stop nagging me to do it!  LOL!  I can't wait to get started!

Also, please take a moment to say "HI!" to the other members of the team:

LisaJane (Owner), Kelly S and Marion E.

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend!

My Trees

The spring term for the Inktegerity design team has come to an end.  Joni had all of us our own image as a Thank You for working with her.  This term I requested a tree to be used for sympathy cards.  I do not have many stamps or sets for making sympathy cards so I thought this would be nice to have.

Here is the first image:

Joni also made a silhouette of a tree to go with it.  Here it is:

I created both of these cards in Microsoft Word and using Microsoft Paint.  I had limited time this week since I was packing up to go on a camping trip for the extended holiday weekend (I took Thursday and Friday off too).

Supplies:
Stamps: Inktegrity - Trees
Paper: GP White
Ink: Laserjet Color Printer
Accessories: MS Word, MS Paint

Cards On Demand

I had a neighbor call me a couple of Sundays ago looking for an anniversary card for her brother.  I did not have any that were not "cutesy" so they were not appropriate for a 25th anniversary.  So I made this one for her.

So when I came over about 15 minutes later with it, we were joking that I should start a business and call it Cards On Demand (COD).  It was too funny!

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink - Round & Round (Not for Sale - Anniversary Set)
Paper: PTI Soft Stone, Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray

Mother's Day Card

Here is the card that I made my mother and mother-in-law for Mother's Day!

I used a cutting file from Mamaw's Legacy called Flower 42010 to cut this card out.  It is a tri-fold card.  I added the ribbon down the front to decorate it.  I stamped the sentiment on the inside so it would not take away from the decorative front.

Stamps: All Year Cheer II (Sentiment Inside)
Paper: Barely Banana
Ink: Archival Jet Black
Accessories: Cricut, Mamaw's Legacy Cutting File - Flower 42010, SU 1/2" Grosgrain Ribbon - Certainly Celery
