Happy Birthday Tara!

Here is the birthday card to go along with Tony the Birthday Monster:


I am hoping that she enjoys her birthday!  Things have been really crazy for us at work with year end and all so I am hoping to make this day a little more fun for her!  I am also making her an ice cream sandwich cake with a layer of Cool Whip and rainbow sprinkles to help celebrate.  She loves ice cream so I bet this will make today special for her!  Thanks Dia for the cake idea (I know you are reading this! LOL!)

Wedding Card

Here is a wedding card that I made for a co-worker:


The background for this card was the tri-fold envelope that the wedding invitation came in.  I just hope the bride will notice it right away because you know the groom won't!  LOL!

Snowboarding Birthday

This card is for my nephew Brad who is turning 12 today.

Santa Face Tag

Here is my first project using a Christmas digital cutting files from Filekutz by LisaJane:


I thought that I would use the Santa Face (LK000114) cutting file to make a Christmas tag.  I added some Ice Stickles to give his cap some texture.

Congratulations Bob!

Wednesday was an important day for my boss.  He became a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and has lost over 70 pounds since April 2009!  Way to go!  He looks great too!


I wanted to let him know what an inpsiration he has been to me in my weight loss journey.  Hopefully someday (soon) I will be back to my ideal weight and I can stop paying for Weight Watchers meetings too!

Wild About You

I had a request from a co-worker, to make a 1st birthday card with a lion or jungle theme.  I thought it was a perfect time to color this little guy from MelJen's Desings!


She absolutely loved it!  Inside I personalized it using my JustRite Stamps.  It reads: "Happy 1st Birthday Jake!"

Mother's Day Card

Here is the card that I made my mother and mother-in-law for Mother's Day!


I used a cutting file from Mamaw's Legacy called Flower 42010 to cut this card out.  It is a tri-fold card.  I added the ribbon down the front to decorate it.  I stamped the sentiment on the inside so it would not take away from the decorative front.

With Heartfelt Sympathy

A very close friend at work lost her mother yesterday.  She was diagnosed a brain tumor that had taken over her left side of her brain and recently moved to the frontal lobes.  She found out that she had it in December 2009.  She was a wonderful person and will be missed!  Hugs to you Amy!
