My Disney Scrapbook

On Saturday, I went to a friend's house to scrap the night away while the guys worked on hanging a drop ceiling in the basement. I was able to get 6 pages completed over the weekend. I am making a scrapbook of our trip to Walt Disney World that we took in September 2008. All of these pages have their own special Disney album separate from the rest of my scrapbook pages.

Corrosive Challenge #8

This week's challenge on Corrosive Challenge Blog was to use words as the focal point and no colored images. Yipes, I love to color! So I broke out my unmounted SU wheels to make my background and made a simple birthday card.

April Swap Card

For this month's swap card for my swap group, there was a request for some baby cards. Well, since I do not have kids, my baby stamp stash was limited. Hanna Stamps Challenge #63

This week's challenge is a color challenge, to use black, white and red. This is for my mother-in-law for her birthday for next week. I started coloring Hanna last night with a blue paper pieced dress; so I changed her outfit, like many women do, to work with this challenge.

Loss of a Furry Friend

A sad posting today. A co-worker had to put her 17 year old Sheltie down today. He was very old and sick. Even when you know it is going to happen, it is never an easy thing to deal with.

Inside the card reads: "Faithful friends will always leave pawprints on your heart."
