Dolly Kwoosh Shawlette

Here is my second shawl, first one using fingering weight yarn:

Since it was using fingering weight yarn, it did take longer to make it.  It was a very easy pattern though!  I really like the way the colors works out on this one!

Pattern: Kwoosh Shawlette
Yarn: Stroll Hand-Painted by Knit Picks  #24769 - Dolly
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) on 30" Cables

  1. Gorgeous color and lovely shawlette! Besides quilting I wish I could be more creative with yarn. :o)

  2. I'm tjhinking of starting this pattern tonight. The very first row 2, did you Kfb and just knit to the end, or Kfb and K2tog?

    1. The way the pattern works

      Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Kfb then knit to end until there are 2 stitches left, K2tog, turn
Row 3: Knit to last stitch and Kfb

I promise it is super easy and brainless TV knitting! Good luck!

  3. Yes, I'm doing it now in a lovely DK merino and even I can do it. I found Hitchhiker too much bother to be counting rows and didn't like untidy cast off bit bit so didn't finish. I did a lovely wingspan which is a beautiful effect.
